Why PinD Exists
Google Maps will give you an address. It won't tell you that the woman behind the counter built this from nothing.
In India, a woman owning a space is still a radical act. Property. Walls. A business that is hers.
Most of these spaces exist only through word of mouth, passed between friends, shared in group chats, whispered at dinner tables. They never make it onto any map that matters.
PinD changes that. We map women-owned spaces so they can be found, celebrated, and supported. Not just by people who already know them, but by every woman looking for exactly what they offer.
This is not a directory. Every pin is a story. Every space here was built by someone who held on anyway.
PinD is a Decoding Draupadi initiative, because the DD community has always run on I know a woman. Now there is a map for it.
These spaces exist. They are just not on any map that matters. Until now.
